The great Alan Fletcher once remarked that design is not a profession, but a way of life. If that sounds a little obsessive, meet Felix von Bomhard. The passion for design pervades every nook and cranny of his life. He even redesigned all the icons of his iPhone apps, replacing the customary colourful mess on the home screen with a coherent look of black and white cool.

Felix is also a bit of a design globetrotter. Born and bred in Germany, he worked in Paris for many years before joining Thomas Manss & Company in London. He has found the melting pot of different cultures an ideal place to indulge his (not so) secret love for all things Asian. He even decided to share his home with two Asian flatmates.
