Moira Gil Perez, Thomas Manss & Company

Moira Gil Perez

Moira comes from the Basque city of Pamplona – a place that is not for the faint-hearted with herds of raging bulls charging through the small streets during the San Fermín festival. The Fiesta was first brought to widespread attention by Ernest Hemingway in his novel 'The Sun Also Rises' and fueled Moira's passion for literature and languages.

With her unwavering enthusiasm, Moira even volunteered to translate the Thomas Manss & Company website into Spanish – all 50,000 words of it. The task was accomplished with meticulous planning and almost Germanic precision: To meet her self-imposed deadline Moira had to translate nine captions per day for 45 days. And so it was done.
