Deloitte Signage
Consultancy firm Deloitte & Touche occupy recently built premisis designed by Helmut Jahn just off Berlin's main boulevard Kurfürstendamm. The brief was to announce the company's presence on the building fascia and develop a signage system to help people orientate themselves around the building. The resulting design is one of those rare cases in which signs do not look like an unfortunate albeit necessary afterthought. In fact, the signs add some drama and feel so much part of the architecture that without them the lobbies on the remaining floors now look rather bare and almost unfinished.
