Ivory Press Identity
The Ivory Press logotype was designed as a colophon, a printer's mark that originated in Renaissance printing shops, where a title page would feature the colophon near the bottom of the page.
The logotype assumes its signature like character through a simple manipulation of its Ellington book typeface.
When Ivory Press launched its gallery and bookshop in Madrid, a more consumer orientate subbrand – Ivory Press Art & Books – was developed to promote the gallery programme and one of the finest art and architecture bookshops around.
