When Hotel Arts Barcelona launched their Thomas Manss & Company designed website, the announcement highlighted two key facts: "The site is now more informative and easier to use than ever, with fabulous large-scale photos that really bring the hotel's spaces and location to life."
The accommodation section of the site is a case in point. Every room type is presented with a series of images that effortlessly fill any computer screen and even the largest full HD presentation screens. The images are arranged in long horizontal scrolls that visitors can enjoy at their own pace without having to click or wait for the images to change in an automated slide show.
This arrangement not only resolves the eternal problem of having to accommodate portrait as well as landscape images in a single layout, it also plays along happily with touch devices.
