Description

Richard Long, Riverlines, Ivorypress

Riverlines traces the making of Richard Long's enormous 'mud works' at the Norman Foster designed Hearst Tower in New York. The book shows the artist at work giving an insight into the process. In addition, closeups transport the viewer right in front of the artwork. Norman Foster describes the book in his introduction: "Although it was many months in the planning, RIVERLINES was completed with fantastic energy in just three days, from the 26th to the 28th of April 2006. This book is a visual record of that process and a celebration of its making."
