DTI Website

DTI Website

The concept of user-generated content in virtual communities is commonly associated with social networking sites, blogs, wikis, as well as photo and video sharing sites. Similar to these sites, the DTI website is primarily being used by members of this 'association for technology transfer and innovation'. Its main aim is to encourage the regular exchange of information.

Members can publish documents and reviews, comment on contributions and even create diary entries for selected participants. All of these contributions can either be viewed by members only or they can be vetted and published to be accessible for a wider audience.

Helpful features like threaded information whereby everything, from the initial invitation to a board meeting to the agenda and minutes, is neatly grouped together have proved a resounding success with members.
