Gilò is the first Italian piano bar in Florence, where live music, excellent drinks and exquisite food come together to create a unique atmosphere. Thomas Manss & Company joined the team one year after its opening, masterminding the communication in collaboration with copywriter Massimo Alvito.

A social media campaign promotes the busy schedule of events at the venue. Taking its cue from the logo, the protagonist of the campaign illustrations is the letter O. The illustrations mix elegance and irony to convey a bit of instantly recognisable fun – all presented in Gilò’s distinctive colours.

Gilò is the vision of Gianfranco Lotti, a Florentine designer and craftsman, who established his Gianfranco Lotti brand of fine leather goods in 1968. He dreamt of opening a space in Florence where one can enjoy the authentic atmosphere of an Italian piano bar.
